Georgina's mooring is at Jesus Lock in the center of Cambridge.

Access is from the Chesterton Road side of the river, next door to the Boathouse Pub, which is almost on Mitcham's Corner. Nearby landmarks include the Jesus Green Open Air Swimming Pool (which is directly opposite our mooring) and the Arundel House Hotel (which is about 100 yards along Chesterton Road.)

There is lots of Pay & Display Parking on Chesterton Road, which is currently priced at 10p for 10 minutes.
However, there is a maximum 2-hour wait, so for cruises longer than 2 hours, this is useless! The restriction applies from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, so for evening cruises or Sunday afternoons, you should theoretically be OK.

However, lots of people who are going out in Cambridge in the evenings or Sundays do use this area to park & then walk in to the center along the river. All of which means that there may be no more than a few spaces available!

The other options are:
(1) Park Street Multi-storey car park which is a 5-10 minute walk, across Jesus Green & over the footbridge which spans Jesus Lock.
(2) There is a network of streets around DeFreville Avenue, which comes off Chesterton Road. These include Pretoria Road & Kimberley Road. There are currently no restrictions for parking in this area & it is about 5-10 minutes walk from Georgina.

For groups that arrive by coach, there is a designated coach bay on Chesterton Road, which is almost 100 yards from the mooring. Most coaches actually pull up directly at the mooring, which is a double yellow line, but doesn't actually obstruct anything. The coaches then have to "lose themselves" because the designated coach bay is restricted to a maximum wait of 15 minutes. They can park up at Madingley Road Park & Ride site, which is about 5 minutes away, but they get charged £10 for doing so!
